PEEPs management software for the April 2026 deadline

Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) are individualised evacuation plans for residents who cannot self-evacuate in an emergency. This includes people with mobility impairments, sensory impairments, cognitive disabilities, or temporary conditions that affect their ability to evacuate. From April 2026, Accountable Persons of higher-risk buildings must have PEEPs in place for residents who need them.

PEEPs become a mandatory requirement for higher-risk buildings (7+ storeys or 18m+) from April 2026 under the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022. Accountable Persons must identify residents who need PEEPs, create individualised plans, share them with the Fire and Rescue Authority, and keep them under regular review.
